Polo season 2

Last season, we watched as the young idealistic Venetian Marco Polo (Lorenzo Richelmy) found himself a captive in the court of the legendary Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong). He soon learned to see the great leader as a father figure and by the end of the season, he was fighting alongside the Mongolians in a tense battle against their Chinese enemies. Season Two looks to build on this world of intrigue and danger.

Netflix is proud to showcase the world’s first glimpse at the second season of original series Marco Polo.

In a world replete with greed, betrayal, sexual intrigue and rivalry, Marco Polo is based on the famed explorer’s adventures in Kublai Khan’s court in 13th Century China.
